'Sirens' is a modern take on the story of the escaper that cannot help himself constantly looking for the next adventure although the longing for a steady home and someone to hold on to creeps up on him. The classical folk narrative of one who's taken by wanderlust appears in a modern sound dress. Classical folk instruments as the concert guitar and cello are combined with subtle synthesizers and a spacious guitar and vocal production to give new light to an old feeling.
